A great big thank-you to Jackie Hall and Frank Baker for a wonderful evening Entitled” An Evening of Memories” about the story of a very good friend of mine Brian Woods. It was great to meet and talk to his family, plus Hoylake people I had not seen for years. A great night thanks to all, for arranging the evening.

Wish I had heard of this event, as have very fond memories of dancing the night away, curtousy of the Maroccans.
Wasn’t the singer named Frank? Then there was a thin lanky guitarist who lived along the prom somewhere….think the unmistakable figure of Ken Dean was their ‘bouncer’ and roadie, along with Dave Evan’s, whatever happened to them all, I wonder?….oh, wonderful, innocent days of youth in the 60’s. Hoylake was a great place in those days.
