‘SCOFF A COFFEE’ FUND-RAISER AT ST HILDEBURGH’S
The annual ‘scoff a coffee’ morning at St Hildeburgh’s Church, Hoylake, takes place on Saturday, May 31, from 10.30am-12noon. This is a really lively, friendly occasion held in the church centre, which opens on to a terrace in the church’s bluebell wood. Attractions include cake, book, gift and bring & buy stalls, plus a tombola and a raffle.
Admission at the door is £1.50 including unlimited coffee, tea and biscuits. Children go free. St Hildeburgh’s is famous for its lovely flower arrangements and money from the event helps to pay for the stunning displays at Easter, Harvest and Christmas.
St Hildeburgh’s, the parish church of Hoylake, is on the corner of The King’s Gap and Stanley Road, opposite the Green Lodge.
