A new initiative to introduce music to local children is short of something really important: musical instruments.
Volunteers are ready to go to teach the basics of playing music to local children at Melrose Hall. Plans are even afoot for local talent show!
So if you’ve got unwanted banjos, ukes, guitars, trumpets, etc please do donate them to a good cause. You can drop them off at the Hoylake Help shop which is on Market Street opposite The Ship.
People are so generous.
We have already received 4 Guitars and an Amplifier.
The Children we intend to start working with will be so delighted and we can now get going on our plans.
We would be delighted to keep receiving any other instruments, maybe we will form a Hoylake Childrens Band!!! Many Many Thanks.
This is an absolutely lovely idea. I can give you a ukulele – new one – however where exactly is the Hoylake Help shop and does it have a parking space ??? or maybe you have a ‘drop off’ place in West Kirby –
If you ring 632 2152 and leave your address I will collect.
Many Many thanks.
