New plans for the redevelopment of a care home in Hoylake have been submitted after previous plans were withdrawn.
Owners of the Westhaven care home in Queens Road, Hoylake submitted revised plans for a replacement development in April – you can see them here. As discussed in this post, the previous application was withdrawn, although the reasons for such were not clear. The redevelopment plans were not popular with some local residents and it remains to be seen if these new plans are found to be more favourable.
A decision on the proposal will not be made before 29th May.
What do you think? Have your say in the comments below.
The eyesore has come about from the local residents objecting to the previous owners applying to extend and remodel the original building.
I would be rather upset if this unsympathetic building was going up in my line of sight.
